The basic building blocks needed to develop a successful relationship come from understanding how the two of you impact one another, what is needed from each other, and what is working and what isn’t in your couple’s toolbox. By focusing on the role that emotions play within your relationship, together we explore the negative reactive cycle that leads to miscommunication, painful conflict and disconnection. I help you understand how to learn to express and receive the love that you desire. By reprogramming your reactions, you will be equipped with a new set of skills, resources and ideas that can be immediately put into action to improve how you interact, communicate, and get your needs met in your relationship.

If so, this is where I come in.

I am an Emotionally Focused Therapist (EFT), who uses other evidence-based approaches including Gottman Method, Coaching, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Art-Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I encourage my couples to be accountable and proactive in their therapy to help them become self-reliant and capable of using tools on their own outside of the therapy setting. I will sometimes assign homework, readings, and videos, and I will also use exercises, roll-playing and art therapy in-session. I believe in being encouraging and positive as I help couples develop their strengths while overcoming their weaknesses. I am highly invested in each of my clients and I strive to help them achieve their relationship goals.
